Holiday post #5: Back to Melbourne

We headed back to Melbourne for Christmas and caught up with an old friend from dad's rugby club. 

We went to Chinatown and went to one of those places where they dig live fish out of tanks so you can see them before they are cooked... lovely.

We did Secret Santa and with our £20 budget there was only one place to shop... the Queen Victoria Market!!

We went on Christmas Eve - the trinket stalls were fairly quiet. The food stalls however, were just crazy.

No, this sky message was NOT for me!

The view from the Eureka Skydeck  - the 88th floor! I couldn't do The Cube - where you go in a clear box and it moves out of the building so you can look straight down. No way.

On a blinking hot day, we went to the Botanic Gardens.

I love the coffee shops in the lanes.

On Boxing Day we went to the zoo!
